New Book: Super Natural Every Day

I am SO GLAD that I preordered Heidi Swanson's new book, Super Natural Every Day. I got it in the mail from Amazon and I'm so ready to start cooking out of it! Her recipes are vegetarian and focus on healthy foods that bring tons of benefits through choosing the right ingredients.

I've been following Heidi's blog for a little while now, and bookmarking recipes. When I saw that her book was available on Amazon, I quickly added it to my cart. My free priority shipping via Amazon Prime for Students didn't hurt either :)  (Its the second time I've preordered books from Amazon and I really like having the books in my mailbox within a day of the release date! And I avoided the lines at the bookstore!)

If you're not sure if you'll like it, go to Amazon and peek inside the book! It'll definitely convince you! (Caution: You may even want to buy it solely based on the photography. Its okay. Just indulge yourself!)

Food Reading List

In honor of starting classes (boo), I went to the library to pick up some food books that I've wanted to read because if I have to read for class, why shouldn't I read something I'm actually interested in?!

The Sweet Life in Paris: Delicious Adventures in the World's Most Glorious - and Perplexing - City by David Lebovitz

Real Food: What to Eat and Why

My Life in France
My Life in France by Julia Child

My Kitchen Wars by Betty Fussell

The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan

The San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market Cookbook: A Comprehensive Guide to Impeccable Produce Plus Seasonal Recipes by Peggy Knickerbocker

I hope that will keep me entertained :) I read David Lebovitz's book in a day because it was just a fun read (so go get it from the library!)

Have a wonderful week- now I'm off to read!

Currently Drooling

I didn't get a lot finished today, but I did start some sewing projects with my mom (translated: I cut out and arrange the pieces, because I am not allowed to sew on her fancy embroidery/sewing machine because it costs too much for me to replace....)

But I am currently drooling over a few cookbooks that I have checked out from the library and am planning on cooking from soon! I just wanted to share my current obsessions:

You should check them out for some inspiration :)
